Owner / Director of Exhibitions
Lindsay Metivier (b.1985, Burlington, Vermont) is an artist and independent curator based in Boston, Massachusetts typically but currently in Carrboro, North Carolina. She holds an undergraduate degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is the proprietor of Aviary Gallery. Additionally, she teaches photography and works as a photographer on a freelance basis. Her work has been shown most recently at the Midway Artist Studios, Dorchester Art Project, Door 3 Gallery, Stonecrop Gallery and the Nave Gallery. Her work has been featured on Humble Arts Foundation and A New Nothing.

Interim Director of Exhibitions / Events Director
Zoë Wyner is an artist and musician living in Waltham, MA. She received her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 2016, and works as an art educator at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston as well as at Gateway Arts in Brookline, MA. She is very involved in the music and arts in the Boston area and puts a great deal of emphasis on the importance of highlighting underrepresented populations within said communities.

EV Krebs

Jessica Bitely is a librarian with a long standing interest in fine arts, and artists's books in particular. She works as Preservation Manager at the Boston Public Library, where she helps promote practices that support long term access to rare and unique collections Jessica has a BA in Studio Arts and Art History, and a Masters in Library and Information Science focused on archives.She and her two cats live in JP, and she is always ready to share thoughts and speculations about preserving our shared cultural heritage.

Genevieve Wallace is an artist and adjunct professor living in Boston. She is originally from California, where she received her MA in philosophy from San Francisco State University and a teaching credential in English literature from UC Davis. She teaches philosophy in Brookline and is finishing an MA in history at UMass, Boston. She is excited to continue her involvement in the art community in Jamaica Plain after showing her work during JP Open Studios last year.

Tom McLaughlin is a photo retoucher and visual designer living in Cambridge, MA. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. At Aviary you can find him reading behind the desk, outside of Aviary you can find him exploring his interests in photography, fitness, and writing.
