Hum Journal: Issue 1

10.00

Hum Journal is a publication designed to share and archive the creative work of visual artists and writers in the Greater Boston Area. A small print publication that expands on its content and impact through an internet presence, Hum is committed to serving unconventional creative work. Each issue will present fifteen artists who challenge the limits of their practice and push the boundaries of what can be considered "art." The only parameters for inclusion are the limits of this city. By presenting an expansive mix of artists from different neighborhoods around Boston, Hum hopes to capture and preserve a particular mood in the creative landscape. Hum Journal was founded in Jamaica Plain in 2013 by two friends, Holly Copeland and Anna Leocha. The first issue was released in Spring 2014. The second issue is slated to release in Fall 2014.
